Problems of the Week will be posted starting at the meeting next week. Participants get to challenge their brain and winners will sign a shirt at the end of the year!
Detailed information on AMC and IMLs was provided at the meeting today. The AMC will take place on November 5th during 4th period. IMLs will be monthly competitions in the place of normal meetings, starting after fall break. Check the calendar page for specific dates and room location (some IMLs are not in H202).
AMC forms were passed out today. AMC spots are first-come, first-serve, so be sure to turn in your form asap if you want to compete.
The first Problem of the Week has been posted! Complete it within a week; the first three correct answers (with work) each week will receive recognition. You can find the problem and more details on the POTW page.

Rose-Hulman High School Mathematics Competition (Nov 1) and Franklin College Math Day (Nov 22) forms were handed out today; competition information provided. Stop by H202 to get forms for these competitions if you were not able to make it to today's meeting. The Rose-Hulman form is due September 24th and the Franklin form is due October 1st.

Franklin College Math Day (Nov 22) forms were due today. Our first IML (Indiana Math League) Competititon will take place during our next meeting, Wednesday October 22nd. Note that there is NO MEETING next week due to PSAT day, and no meeting the following week due to spring break. Be at H222 (Ms. Ingwersen's room) sometime between 7:00am and 7:45am to have time to finish the half-hour calculator-active individual competition by 8:15am!

Bring a pencil, along with your own lunch if you did not pay for lunch. No calculator is allowed, so don't bring one. If you signed up and are not able to make it, please tell Mrs. Hufty or Ms. Ingwersen as soon as possible.
